SLII® Concepts

  • Traditional Classroom: ½-day
  • Virtual Instructor-led: One 3-hour session; One 4-hour session; Two 2-hour sessions

The best leaders understand that individuals have different needs and that different situations call for different approaches. SLII® provides a leadership model that teaches leaders to recognize and respond to the varying leadership styles and job maturity levels found among team members. This course provides an introduction to the SLII model, including the four leadership styles (directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating) and when and how to apply them based on four development levels.

Participants will learn to think about and speak about leadership in a way that will increase their rapport with their team members and inspire others to bring their best to each task. This course will provide participants with the skills needed to immediately apply this flexible leadership model at their workplace.
