Corporate Account Executive — New Business (Corporate Training / Leadership Development)


The Role: Corporate Account Executive (Hunter / New Logo)

This is a pure B2B business development role focused on acquiring new enterprise and mid-market clients for CEG’s leadership development, project management, and professional education solutions. You will sell consultative, high-value training and development solutions to senior business leaders, HR, and L&D executives across industries. Ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, and winning new business.

We are growing our sales team and seeking a true hunter to drive new logo acquisition and expand our enterprise client base.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new logo acquisition with enterprise and mid-market organizations
  • Prospect and build pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Lead discovery conversations with HR, L&D, and business leaders
  • Develop tailored learning and development solutions aligned to business goals
  • Manage full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → proposal → close
  • Sell bundled solutions (training, consulting, coaching, assessments)
  • Manage complex, consultative sales cycles (avg. ˜3–6 months)
  • Create and deliver compelling executive-level presentations and proposals
  • Partner internally with delivery and leadership teams to design solutions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce

Required Experience

  • 5–10+ years B2B consultative sales experience
  • Proven success in new business / hunter role
  • Experience selling one or more of the following:
    • Corporate training / leadership development
    • Talent development / HR solutions
    • Professional services or consulting
    • EdTech / learning solutions
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Comfortable prospecting and building pipeline independently
  • Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market organizations
  • Strong executive presence and discovery skills

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience selling corporate training, leadership development, or workforce development solutions
  • Existing relationships with HR/L&D buyers
  • Experience with $20K–$150K+ solution sales
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM

Compensation

  • Base salary: $75,000+
  • Uncapped commission + bonus
  • On-target earnings: $140K-$155K
  • Significant upside for top performers
