What You Will Learn
To bring a project to successful completion, the project manager must perform a set of well-defined, inter-related tasks. This curriculum presents these tasks in a logical sequence, aligned with the 49 processes described in the PMBOK® Guide. Where the project manager is responsible for work products critical to the project, practice is provided in the analytical techniques used in the creation of these work products. The curriculum places a heavy emphasis on the relationship of one task to another, as the output of one process becomes the input of a related process. Project management is an iterative endeavor, where change is a constant, and this curriculum prepares the project manager to work in this reality. Class exercises also provide participants with an opportunity to practice the interpersonal skills that are essential to their success as project managers.
