Inside Sales Representative

Overall Responsibility

Join a high energy and focused team providing solutions to people and organizations to grow their capability and deliver better business results! This position is focused on business to business (B2B) sales driving both private onsite and public open enrollment programs; it requires an individual who is highly collaborative, motivated and enthusiastic.

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Proactively develop client relationships with organizations and individuals fitting our ideal customer profile (ICP) utilizing internal and external lists and data sources, calls, e-mails, social media, and other creative strategies.
  2. Qualify opportunities with expert skill including sales factors like budget, decision makers, and timeframe, as well as solution scope and constraints.
  3. Collaborate with Outside Sales on opportunities and key account strategies.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with other internal teams to ensure internal efficiencies and consistent high quality solutions for our clients.
  5. Apply continuous and rapid learning to grow expertise in our comprehensive range of solutions and keep current on trends to better consult and advise our clients and prospects.
  6. Communicate in both written and verbal formats with clients in different functions and at all levels within client organizations. Write high quality correspondence, quotes, and proposals, as well as prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal teams.
  7. Record and maintain accurate information of prospect and customer interactions within our Salesforce CRM (and other systems as appropriate); keep management informed ongoing.

Knowledge and Background:

This position, located in Chelmsford, MA, requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of successful business to business (B2B) sales experience. Experience selling "intangibles" in human capital and professional services is essential. Proven success building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders in HR, IT, Finance and lines of business within small to medium-sized enterprises is highly desirable. Collaborative, self-motivated and success-driven, yet able to take direction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present compelling business presentations. Detail-orientation and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM applications. Knowledge of social selling via LinkedIn and other platforms. Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce highly desirable.
