Job Opening: Corporate Account Executive

Position Description

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, entrepreneurial, and creative business development professional with a demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complicated business challenges faced by our clients.

The Corporate Account Executive will position and promote CEG training, consulting services, coaching and enterprise learning solutions to customers. This includes all facets of client relationship management ranging from identifying new prospective customers to maintaining long term customer relationships.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and grow relationships with clients from a variety of industries and across a broad geography.
  • Effectively evaluate clients' business challenges, opportunities, and constraints related to talent development.
  • Sell CEG's comprehensive solutions including training, advisory consulting, coaching, and assessments to executives and other key personnel, including enterprise HR leaders, business leaders, and technical leaders.
  • Develop client-specific strategic plans to identify new business opportunities with new clients and to expand our scope of services with our existing client portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver high quality sales presentations (face-face and Virtual) to new targets, including brand new accounts and new business units within our existing client portfolio.
  • Work effectively across the sales lifecycle including prospecting, building relationships, identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and managing large accounts.
  • Write proposals and serve as project manager of proposal responses ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
  • Develop, manage and communicate realistic opportunity pipelines within our CRM.
  • Create and manage a list of sales leads based on the company's target client profile.
  • Demonstrate drive and tenacity while maintaining a good nature and ability to build solid relationships externally with clients as well as internally within CEG.
  • Serve as primary relationship manager to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • The Corporate Account Executive position requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field plus 5+ years of experience utilizing a consultative, solution selling methodology.
  • Candidates must show proven success selling intangibles such as training and consulting solutions to executives and diverse buying influences in medium and large-scale enterprises.
  • Demonstrable experience establishing and executing on a sales action plan is critical, along with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • Excellent project and time management skills along with superior presentation and communication skills for in person, telephone, and virtual meetings.
  • Formal and professional writing skills for diverse audiences are critical to success in this role.
  • Proficiency utilizing technology including MS Office, and CRM systems such as Salesforce is required.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong collaboration skills are necessary to successfully work with CEG clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Experience in project management, process management, and training and development is beneficial.
