PMP® Prep Fast Track from Corporate Education Group is designed to help you successfully pass the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Exam while arming you with the skills you need to have a positive impact on your projects and your organization's larger business objectives. It is based on PMI's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) — Sixth Edition and breaks down each of the 10 Knowledge Areas.

  4. PMP® Prep Fast Track is delivered during 5 full days of classroom or virtual instruction.
  5. How much does it cost?
  6. The cost of the PMP® Prep Fast Track course is $1,995.

  11. Participants should bring a laptop to the class.
  12. How do I get access to the PMP® Prep Fast Track Portal?
  13. Once the class made a GO, you will receive an email message with login details from CEG. Please visit the leaning portal for details about how to prepare for the training program. Bookmark the page and return often to utilize the additional project management resources provided.
  14. Are there other schedules and locations not currently listed?
  15. CEG is updating schedules frequently — please check the website for added dates.
  16. Will the class PDUs count towards maintaining my certification since I will have had to have the required contact hours to submit my application already?
  17. At the time a Candidate passes his/her PMP® Exam, all previous PM training (including all Contact Hours and PDUs) reverts to zero, however, PMP® Prep Fast Track has been audited by PMI and is fully approved/registered for awarding 40 Contact Hours.

Application Process Questions

  2. When should I apply for the PMP® Exam?
  3. Attendees are encouraged to start the application process when registering for the course. Documentation and tools to assist with the process are provided on the PMP® Prep Fast Track Portal.
  4. How long does it take PMI to process the PMP® Exam application?
  5. Generally, once the application has been submitted online, process time is 5 calendar days. If your application has been selected for PMI's audit process, you will need to submit further documentation. PMI provides you with 90 days to submit the supporting documentation. The audit process takes about 5-7 business days to complete.
  6. Once approved, how long do I have to schedule the exam?
  7. The exam can be scheduled within one year of application approval.
  8. If my application is rejected, will I be reimbursed for the PMP® Prep Fast Track class?
  9. Cancellation and rescheduling course fees for public registration courses are fully refundable if Corporate Education Group receives written communication of the cancellation or reschedule before the 14th day before the course start date. Corporate Education Group will accept notification via U.S. mail, fax, or email to info@corpedgroup.com.
  10. Cancellation or reschedule requests received between 14 and 7 days before a course start date will be charged a fee equal to 25% of the course fee. Cancellation or reschedule requests received fewer than 7 days before a course start date will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the course fee.

Exam Questions

  1. When should I register for the PMP® Exam?
  2. Students should register for the exam AFTER the PMP® Prep Fast Track class has been made a GO.
  3. PMI's cancellation policy for CBT exams states: If you reschedule or cancel your exam within 30 days of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee of $US70. You need to reschedule or cancel your appointment before you are within two calendar days of your exam appointment.
  4. If you wait until you are within two days of your exam appointment, you will be able to cancel your appointment and you will forfeit the entire exam fee. You will not be able to reschedule your appointment at this point and will need to pay associated reexamination fees to schedule a new exam.
  5. What does the PMP® exam cost?
  6. The exam is $405 for PMI members and $555 for nonmembers.
  7. How long is the PMP® exam?
  8. The exam is 4 hours long with no scheduled breaks.
  9. How do I schedule the PMP® Exam?
  10. You must have registered for your examination with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and received your Authorization to Test (ATT) letter prior to scheduling your testing appointment at a Prometric Testing Center.
  11. After the PMP® Prep Fast Track class has been made a GO, schedule your appointment online at the Prometric website. You can also locate a test center on Prometric's website.
  12. Do I need to bring my own computer to the PMP® Exam?
  13. No, a computer will be provided by the testing center.
